Aertight Healthcare Solutions

Description

Healthcare facilities have many challenges that present considerable problems for traditional server deployments, some of which include:

  • Traditional servers with fans that pull in airborne contaminants
  • Remote Facilities with rotating staff, all with different levels of IT experience.
  • Locations without HIPPA Complaint locked and access controlled rooms.
  • Shared Office Spaces where IT resources are "mixed" between different providers.

As an IT provider serving the Baltimore/Washington area for 15 years, we've witnessed many different attempts to solve these issues, and although the solution has been, generally, to punt most resources to cloud systems, that's not always an option in areas with unreliable internet access.

Aertight Systems, Inc. developed the Aertight™ Server Platform in order to provide a better alternative.

Here are some specific points which the Aertight™ Server Platform can help in your server deployment and troubleshooting.

  • The Aertight Server Platform is fanless, easy to wipe down, and we can optionally upgrade the exterior to 100% stainless steel.
  • Our system has a touchscreen built in with Microsoft Windows installed, standard. Coaching a minimally trained individual to reboot the system is easy.
  • The entire system is 16 gauge steel with NO exposed data ports, since all are secured behind a combination lock.
  • We include a TPM 2.0 Hardware Encryption Module, standard. What this means is every bit of data on this system is encrypted at rest. Aertight can also offer a service to store the backup encryption key offline, in cold storage here at our offices for you.
  • The system can be completely isolated from a network if needed BUT have a simple, mechanical, toggelable, keyed switch (The Aertight™ Server Islanding Switch) optionally installed to allow "on-demand" connections to pre-established remote connections.
  • The system supports up to 6 total SSD removable drives. You could configure a few of these for rotating offsite backups, and then have a minimally trained employee (with access of course) rotate these local backups in and out. Since the enclosure is protected by a lock, no unauthorized personnel can take your external backup drives, and there are no messy USB connections.

We're hoping the Aertight Server Platform can help you, so feel free to give us a call if you have any questions!
