Why you need a more rugged computer server in 2019.
Your computer server that you bought from a major manufacturer was a really easy purchase but the maintenance costs are eating you alive. It seems like every time you turn around, a hard drive has failed, a motherboard has fried, and you constantly need the IT guy to help.
What you really need is a server that is "Rugged". Although you don't intend to take it backpacking with you, you do need it to reliably work in environments where you don't have the perfect computer room.
Aertight Systems, Inc. has been an IT Services provider for 15 years and served many clients in the Baltimore, Washington metro areas. We're a very different type of IT company in that, we spent a lot of time listening to our clients. We realize that you need a computer server which will not require constant maintenance from tech support.
So, we developed the AERTIGHT Server Platform, a computer server that is designed to be rugged and more reliable.
Some of the features on our system include:
- 16 Gauge Wall Mount Steel Enclosure
- Fanless
- Water Resistant
- No Moving Parts
- Combination-Locked Internal Components
- Industrial Grade Components
- Touchscreen Included
- Low power consumption- Less than 100 Watts at full Capacity
- Microsoft Windows Server
In a nutshell, we've built a Computer Server that you can install and expect to have lower costs maintaining over time. The 16 gauge Steel enclosure protects the system from theft and low level flooding. Going fanless means there are no fans to fail, and we can completely enclose the server so that it's water resistant. With no moving parts, you don't have to replace hard drives with nearly the same frequency and the system is virtually silent. Combination-Locked Internal Components prevent unauthorized people having anytime access to your hard drives. Industrial Grade Components means your computer server will fail less often due to component failure. Having a built-in touchscreen eliminates the need for an additional monitor and keyboard. It's more convenient and saves space. Low power consumption means you've got battery backups that will last longer. Finally, having Microsoft Windows Server installed really makes it so you see the same familiar type of operating system you've always used.
