The Aertight Server Platform is the best server for your hypervisor.

At Aertight, we have engineered our Aertight Server Platform from the ground up so that it provides the perfect host hardware server for your hypervisor. Our server is a patent pending, rugged, fanless, water resistant, dust resistant, nearly silent, Microsoft Windows Server with a touchscreen embedded in the front panel, and no moving parts. Our system has no exposed data ports, and is enclosed in a 16 gauge steel enclosure that is locked and prevents unauthorized access to data ports.

We realize that you're looking for robust hardware when you're looking for a server for your hypervisor. Our system is hypervisor agnostic; although it comes with Windows Server Standard in "desktop experience mode", Aertight is able to install a the hypervisor of your choice, including VMware, KVM, XEN, and Hyper-V. Clients can choose to have these installed as either bare metal or installed on the operating system of your choice. We can provide quote you the licences or you may bring your own.

As a hardware host for the hyper-v hypervisor, we can combine two Aertight Server Platforms into a highly available failover cluster. Aertight has worked for many years (since 2004) as an IT Systems integrator and we're a Microsoft Certified Partner that has a deep bench of talented staff who understand virtualization. When we combine two Aertight Server Platforms, we're able to use special software that allows for network disk mirroring. This system eliminates the need for shared storage (items like a SAN, NAS, etc) so we can lower the total cost of the system. The hypervisor on each machine is linked in the failover cluster and then is able to detect the presence and state of the virtual machines, applications, and resources on both hypervisors.
