Aertight Systems, Inc. has been providing network services for 15 years.
In 2004, Aertight Systems, Inc. was formed in Severna Park, MD to provide network services to clients in the Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington DC areas. Our business has grown from a very small company to the go to provider it is today by offering the best network services in the area.
Aertight is a very different type of network services provider. For many years, we sold the same equipment that many others did, from Dell, Cisco, Netgear, HP and others. In the beginning, these systems were reliable. We were able to support the hardware knowing, if we installed it today it would last. We could reasonably expect we wouldn't have to replace a hard drive or fan in less than a month. Sadly, over the years, client calls regarding catastrophic hardware failures increased. We realized that the large manufacturers were cutting costs on components, but punting the warranty support calls overseas. When clients couldn't reach the 1-800 number of the large company that sold them their server, they called Aertight. Since Aertight was a local and responsive network services provider, we'd often be the 1st tier triage before calling the manufacturer. In the end, solving the current problem with a dead fan really did'nt do anything to improve overall reliability.
Aertight decided we needed to provide our clients better network services, so we designed and built the rugged Aertight Server Platform.
The Aertight Server Platfrom is a patent pending, rugged, wall mount, water resistant, nearly silent, touchscreen embedded, Microsoft Windows Server enclosed in a 16 gauge NEMA4 rated steel enclosure.
We realized that although our server platform has a higher upfront cost than the major manufacturers, it would drastically increase the reliability of network services and lower total costs in the long run.
Network Services are expensive, so when we engineered the Aertight Server Platform to be more robust, we realized clients would pay less, and, in the end, be happier.
